بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ1

Say, ‘I seek refuge with the Lord of people

مَلِكِ النَّاسِ2

the Controller of people

إِلَـٰهِ النَّاسِ3

the God of people

مِنْ شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ4

against the harm of the slinking whisperer––

الَّذِي يُوَسْوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ النَّاسِ5

who whispers into the hearts of people––

مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ6

whether they be jinn or people.’
